Welcome to the Website of the Alfred & Lyman Little League.
We are a part of Maine's District 4 Little League, serving the towns of Alfred and Lyman. In 2007 we fielded 21 teams (4 Tball, 4 Coach Pitch, 2 Minor League Softball, 4 Minor League Baseball, 2 Major League Softball, 4 Major League Baseball, and 1 Junior League Baseball)
Important Updates/Notes:
The league board is conducting a raffle to raise funds for the planned construction of a league owned storage building & batting cage:
1st Prize - Four tickets to the Friday Aug. 15th Red Sox vs. Blue Jays game in Boston (Value $480). Includes bus transport from the Maine Mall (3pm departure) or Biddeford Park & Ride (3:15 pm).
2nd Prize - JD Drew autographed baseball bat (Value $199).
Tickets may be purchased at opening ceremonies, from league board members, and at concession stands throughout the season. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.
Board meetings are typically held on the 3rd Sunday of every month, 6 pm at the Goodwin Mills Fire Department Conference Room. These meetings are open to the public. If you are interested in attending it is recommended to call the number at the bottom of this page as meetings are often moved to accomodate the busy parents who make up our board.

Age Eligibility Notes
Tball - Open to players league age 5 -8. To meet the minimum age requirement the child must turn 5 before May 1, 2008.
Coach Pitch - Open to players league age 7-8 plus 6 year olds who have played one year of Tball. To meet the minimum age requirement the child must turn 7 (or 6 if they have played one year of Tball) before May 1, 2008.
Minor League Baseball - Open to players league age 7-11. To meet the minimum age requirements the child must turn 7 before May 1, 2008.
Minor League Softball - Open to players league age 7-11. To meet the minimum age requirements the child must turn 7 before December 31, 2007.
Major League Baseball - Open to players league age 9-12. To meet the minimum age requirements the child must turn 9 before May 1, 2008.
Major League Softball - Open to players league age 9-12. To meet the minimum age requirements the child must turn 9 before December 31, 2007.
Junior League Baseball / Softball - available upon demand for children league age 13-14.
